RJH are Chartered Quantity Surveyors with Construction Law qualifications and many years' experience of large construction projects. We specialise in contractual advice and support, dispute resolution, payment and delay claims, and all aspects of commercial management of construction projects. Our track record in recovering disputed payments is second to none, having recovered over £9 Million for our Clients in the past two years alone on a wide range of both building and civil engineering projects.

Our proprietor, Richard Hildrick has over 23 years' experience in working for major contractors in the UK. A Chartered Quantity Surveyor, Chartered Builder, Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and member of the Adjudication Society, Richard has represented Clients in over 30 adjudications since 2001, as well as establishing and negotiating numerous additional time and payment entitlements with Clients direct.

RJH has successfully represented major international contractors in multi-million pound disputes, as well as many specialist subcontractors in matters involving more modest, yet equally vital, amounts of money. A recent commission saw RJH representing a specialist safety fencing subcontractor in connection with their much varied and delayed work on 2 highway projects for a major UK main contractor. RJH supported the Client's in-house team and provided contractual correspondence, advised on claims submissions and led negotiations with the Contractor to a successful settlement outcome on both projects.
